What is Magic Omens Open?

Magic Omens Open is the biggest Croatian Magic: The Gathering tournament so far. It will take place in the modern venue of Bunker in Samobor on December 9th and 10th.

Inspired by the nostalgia of National Championships and the Pro Tour format, the Open is a 2-day multiformat (Modern and Draft) tournament bringing together players from all over the region.

The guaranteed prizepool is 5.000€ by up to 50 players and it increases to 10.000€ for 100 attending players. The guaranteed 1st prize is a minimum 1.000€.

The tournament is powered by Bunker Samobor and Ultra Pro. Prizes will be awarded to Top 32 players and will consist of Store Credit, products and Ultra Pro accessories prizes.

Event & venue info

The main event will be played during Saturday, after which top 32 players advance to day 2 (played on Sunday).

For players not qualified for day 2, on Sunday, we will host an RCQ Sealed Lost Caverns of Ixalan event with top8 draft.

Bunker Samobor has free unlimited parking spots. If you’re arriving by car, just park in the parking place in front of the venue.

The venue offers a bar for coffee and other refreshing drinks. There are several food options near the venue as well as delivery options. If you’re not a local, our staff will be more than glad to help you out!

Feature matches will be streamed live on our Twitch.tv channel.

Participation fee: 50,00€ per player. Paid at the entrance on the day of the event, only with cash.

Format:

  • Day 1: 3 rounds of Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft + 4 rounds of Modern. Top 32 players advance to Day 2.
  • Day 2: 3 rounds of Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft + Top 8 Modern.

    Modern decklists are mandatory and you may not change decks between day 1 and day 2.

REL is Competitive.

The guaranteed prizepool is 5.000€ by up to 50 players. The guaranteed 1st prize is a minimum 1.000€. The prizes will be distributed to top 32 players, in a combination of store credit, Ulta Pro accessories and MTG products.

On Sunday, we will host an RCQ Sealed Lost Caverns of Ixalan event with top8 draft.

The first place will qualify for the LEC Round 5 finals in Ghent in January 2024.

Participation fee: 40,00€ per player. Paid at the entrance on the day of the event, only with cash.

Buy & Sell your cards at the event!

We will have a booth at the event in which you will be able to sell and buy cards from us! If you need last minute purchases, take a look at our Cardmarket offer and we’ll be able to deliver the cards directly to the event. Bring your extras and trade them for cash or store credit!
